WELCOME TO THE MAUN STUDIOS
Situated on the banks of the Thamalakane River in Maun, Botswana, our bespoke guest house studio suites are set under a riverine tree canopy in a secure, private garden teeming with birdlife

THE STORY OF THE MAUN STUDIOS
Inspired by the surrounding landscape & garden established by our family over 50 years ago, The Maun Studios were designed to make your visit a unique, comfortable, and tranquil experience. Our rooms are spacious, our rates are competitive and the service is excellent.
This property has been home to The Palmer Family since the early 70s. Lionel & Phyllis, Rocky's parents, lived here for 40 years. The garden was transformed from virgin bush by Phyllis who started one of Maun's first Plant Nurseries - as a result, many of the older gardens of Maun had their plants originate here.
Lionel & Phyl so loved sharing this space with friends & travelers and hosted many of the social events of the 70s & 80s.
The Maun Studios was established in 2020 and with Lionel & Phyl's legacy at the heart of what we do, our objective is to continue to share their home & garden that they so loved.
Our team knows that traveling can be exhausting, and will do their best to make your stay easy and satisfying. Take a look at our site to find out more about our rooms, facilities, and amenities. Get in touch if there’s anything else we can help you with. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
